Do you like to cook wild game?

Pheasant pizza with sugar snap peas, onions and feta cheese

I am a member of a women’s Pheasants Forever chapter called the Lady Slippers.  This past Saturday night we held our annual banquet and as part of the evening’s entertainment, we had a demonstration on cooking with wild game and making healthy and easy-to-prepare dishes.  Our chef Lisa Erickson admitted to those gathered that pizza was one of her favorite meals and then she showed us how to make a pheasant and sugar snap pea pizza from scratch.  I have to admit that I am sometimes a little intimidated to cook wild game.  I still have some frozen pheasant and quail in the freezer because I have been trying to figure out what to do with it.  I am certainly going to make Lisa’s pheasant pizza and thought I would share her website with you if you want to try this too: http://wild-chow.com/?sort=&search=pheasant%20pizza

If you love to cook wild game and have a favorite recipe, why not share it with other blog readers in the comments section below.
